Bargain: - Something you really don't want at a price you can't resist.

Neal, I've heard that you charge more than the average DJ's in Atlanta. Why?

Great Question!

Actually all DJ's charge the same.

They all charge what they know they are worth.

Some may believe they are not very talented  and thus charge a lower rate. Others have been told time and time again by their clients that they were fantastic, and those DJ's may charge a higher fee.

I decided that I want to be able to provide you and my other clients with everything you need to make your special occasion a fantastic event rather than just doing the least I can do to get by.

I also will give you my time to help plan your event to be the best it can possibly be. This kind of specialized service is rare, and yes it will cost more than average.

If you want your event to be above average, you should look to the DJ's that provide above average service.

Many inquiries I receive start with a phone call. The client says "I'm calling to see if you are available for this date, and to find out how much it would cost"

Most people have never hired a DJ and really don't know anything else to ask. Many people mistakenly believe all DJ's are the same. If that is what you thought also, it's OK, you are not alone.

If you like what you have seen so far, then please call me to schedule a meeting during which I will be more than happy to provide you with an exact quote for your special event. There is no pressure, and your price will be based on your specific needs.

If you are still curious about why I don't list rates on my site, then read on, (and on, and on, yes it's a lot of information, that's why I would welcome the opportunity to meet you in person to discuss the details further)

A DJ is providing a specialized service and not a commodity. So, let me first start with an analogy to explain why I don't list prices on my website. This may help you see why any DJ that lists prices or quotes prices without all the information is really doing you a disservice.

Analogy: Lets say that you have finally decided that you are tired of walking around and you have heard people say that what you need is a car. You've got $3500 to spend. So you call a dealer and say "How much are your cars?"

The dealer says my cars are $4,000. You say, that's too much and hang up the phone.

So you call a different dealer and this one says "My cars are $2995." You give him your credit card info over the phone, and he says he will deliver your car in the morning.

Tomorrow you wake up and there is a 1979 Ford Pinto with flames painted down the side, and a hole in the floorboard big enough for a small house pet to fall through.

Suddenly you realize, the dealer did not take the time to find out "everything" that you "really" want and need. The dealer brought you what HE thinks a car should be and while you did get a car, you didn't get anything like what you expected.

Why? Because he didn't take the time to find out all about your personal sense of style, and your needs, and your concerns. It's not your fault, because you didn't even know that you should tell him more about what you wanted, everybody told you all cars were the same. They get you from point A to point B and that's all you knew.

Later you see a friend driving a brand new Mercedes convertible. It is loaded with push button features, DVD players, plush interior, and it is the most unique attractive color you've ever seen.

You think to yourself, I bet that car cost $50,000. Your friend then tells you that she got it from the dealer that sells cars for $4,000. And that is how much it costs. $4,000!

You think WOW if I'd known I was getting all that, I would have gladly paid a little more than what I was planning to spend on a car.

The same is true for DJ's. Meet with them in person and find out what all you will really be getting. You may find a DJ that costs a little more but gives a LOT more service is truly your best value.

That is the main reason I don't list prices on my website. I've got nothing to hide and will be more than happy to discuss pricing with you after I find out what you really want and need. The most important thing you can do for your special event is to pick the right entertainer based on your needs, and the entertainer's talent and ability to deliver exactly what you are looking for.
